Guus van der Nat werkt sinds begin 2016 als zelfstandig ondernemer op het gebied van het organiseren van informatiebeveiliging en privacy. Op dit moment voert hij opdrachten uit bij VDL Nedcar en Equalit op het gebied van ISO 27001. Daarvoor heeft hij diverse management-, advies- en programma-/projectfuncties gehad bij Rabobank Nederland, De Lage Landen, Deloitte (VB Advies), Metaal Compagnie Brabant en Philips.
